The NTR Housing Scheme is an initiative introduced by the Andhra Pradesh government in 2016. This scheme is a part of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and shares an objective similar to that, i.e. providing a permanent home to underprivileged individuals in both rural and urban areas.

In its inauguration, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh announced more than 4 Lakh houses for the underprivileged population in the state.

Along with that, beneficiaries of the scheme can avail lower interest rates on home loans from financial institutions which are approved by the NTR scheme, much like the PMAY scheme.
